Can you give me the plugin feed for pli or the ipk so I can install?

I've tried to request them to update the file at openatv but they don't have a clue what I'm talking about...

Prefer the feed.

Problem. I do not know if the OpenATV version works with epg.dat files.

This version is sligthly different from the OpenPLi version.

It will be fine.

Did you try the epg.dat file ?

Powerful stuff

So fast I didn't even realized something is happening at first (it should be changed from 0 event to somthing else).

No hangups no nothing.

Works a treat.

I'll test more later.

Changes in Yes didn't take.

I've linked the channels. You need to overwrite the channels file.

Tested the TVXB script.

Working good. It was the right call to split them.

Tried show-delay="1" - didn't fail. You can test.

Also grabbing simultaneously now as you suggested.

Apologies, show-delay="1" does fail.

Mistakenly, updated the ini not in the working directory.

btw, why not do a special english epg "international package" for all satellites and packages?

Only channels with english epg and audio english will be included in it.

I think this is very much in need.

After finishing with the heb epg I may start working on this if this is something others will have interest with.

Tried also the show_delay=1. And it did not fail.

Since you had a fail. It seems that this is borderline.

I will stick to the show_delay=2

About the English international package.

News channels are included (english) in almost every XMLTV file. Which other channels do you want in there?

There are a lot more than news out there...

Movies, TV series, documentaries etc etc.

I've dozens upon dozens of channels like this scattered across many satellites.

Their main disadvantage is that only a few will have eng epg which is a big drawback.

Many channels in Sky Italia, Digiturk, YES, UPS, Telenor, 19.2E have dual audio tracks, with english being one of them.

Doing this will single them out amongst the crowd as the channels EVERYONE can watch.

I didn't get myself into the satellite business only to watch local channels...

You can also put this package at the top of the list, and the local packages under it so the user can choose also their native tongue, and it will overwrite the eng package where it is appropriate.

You'll get native tongue where possible and english epg at all the rest.

When you have more than 10K channels this is a must that someone will do the leg work and filter them.

I'm actually surprised nobody thought to do is...

Google translating the epg is a bad practice and not the solution.

Also is it possible to add the ability to prefer xmltv import epg over transponder epg?

I can disable "transponder" EPG (EIT, MHW, etc...) in the settings of the image. But is a general option. All or nothing.

If you disable this, no channel at all is receiving EPG from a transponder.

Yes, I know. I was just conforming to rest of the data that was already in there.

It doesn't really matter... As long as it comes up in the search results it's good.

Fixed 15 hot channels.

Offseted another 2 hot channels.

One channel I had to offset 20min, I did it like so: offset="-0.333"

I've tested, seems to work...

Added 2 grabs from sky uk (ini included).

Added references for a lot of HOT radio channels and "special" channels

Remove 6 grabs with static data. Added a few.

Fixed timezone at yes and hot ini to: timezone=UTC+02:00

What was in there gave you +00000, which is no good.

Added a section for sunray4 (a very popular receiver in Israel).

Used regex to replace all FFFF0000 (and the others) with 3840000 for sunray section.

This section is a complete duplicate (not withstanding the replacement) of the cable channels section.

Should work I believe. We'll test it.

Added a section for local HOT radio channels.

Created 2 files Israel3Webgrab.xml and Israel4Webgrab.xml with the intention to use it with static data.
Filled most of data in them.
Israel3Webgrab.xml - For special channels (VOD), encrypted, and channels without epg.
Israel4Webgrab.xml - Radio channels.

I'll later may combine the two.
Currently, I've yet to succeed creating a program event that will last FOREVER.
Tried many ways to play with the start and stop time, but didn't had much success.
Maybe you have an idea how to do it correctly?
I've put a start time without stop time and testing this now (gets me negative runtime).
Putting a stop time waaayy in the future doesn't seems to work.
Maybe I'll have other ideas later...
Currently, you don't need to use these 2 files. They're just for testing.

Need an ini for this site/channel: http://www.finelivin...rk.com/tv-guide
Need an ini for directv.
Need the ini you use for id: AlJazeeraArabe.nws.
Need the ini you use for id: France24fr.fr

Did a complete check and compered every channel in the hot guide.
Fixed all the stuff I've found.
The data is very very accurate and full.
HOT has more quality information in its epg than Yes most of the time, btw.

I've installed the systemtools plugin. How do you erase with it the epg.dat file?
I know how to do it manually.

Fine Living:

I am grabbing this from:

Fine Living Network

This schedule is 3 hours different from the one published. It seems to be correct for what is shown on the channel included in the M7 package (Belgium, The Netherlands)

Problem is, I cannot figure out what timezone the schedule is published on the website you gave.

SiteIni attached.

Directtv: I do not have a siteini at the moment. But there maybe one around. Will have a look

Al Jazeera Arabe

FRANCE 24

Sitini's attached.

About timezones in Webgrab++:

The new method of defining them is:

timezone=Asia/Tel_Aviv

The one you used is the old method. Which has problems when the DST time changes are not on the same date. f.i. if Israel changes timezone on a different data as compared to the UK, where the grabbing takes place. The PC gets confused and you end up with an incorrect timezone.

The new method avoids this.

Why is there then Timezone=0000 in the my files. This is caused by the merging process performed by TVXB.

You can set here a time zone as well:

! Winter
xmltimezone=+0000
htmltimezone=+0200
! Summer
!xmltimezone=+0100
!htmltimezone=+0300

I will change it to 0200. TVxb converts all the times to the timezone requested. For an enigma receiver this is no problem. Here the times are again converted the timezone set in the receiver.
