Hi, 

 

i was using blackhole and seeking forward or rewind on iptv vod channel was working with numbers, 4-6 , but on openpli4 is not working.if i start watching vod channel  and  i press 4 , it will change the channel. 

do i need to do some setting?

 

i ask MastaGand he responded that is working.

 

can someone else test this?

 

im using the XCplugin and seeking with numbers is working, with normal bouquett iptv list same vod is not working.

Afaik (without testing) it's not working. For e2 it is a normal channel. When you have a normal channel number keys are used for zapping.
So you have to find a way to switch to seek mode. I don't like that seek mode is enabled by default because it's not logic that you suddenly cannot zap when you open a iptv vod channel.
Other solution would be to use other keys like <<, >> for seeking/jumping.
Or what just came in my mind. Show such channels in movie list and play it like a recorded movie.

How does it exactly work? You zap to vod channel and then you cannot zap any longer with number keys because they seek? How do to switch back to zap mode?

correct, 

i have to use bouquet+ to open channel list and after move with cursor to other channel or vod content.

 

it very useful or important, because without this options is impossible to watch vod content next day and start or seek to the last end and start from. 

this is VOD build for.

 

for me will be o.k. if there is some sort of setting so this

it must be done..there is more and more VOD...

 

is so important, that everywhere i post this problem-questions.. all responded..download end install blackhole...

 

so creators, think of something...VOD is future..

I think the image should check if its an MKV  channel and enable the playback buttons <<, >, ||, >> if it is.

VOD does not automatically mean mkv.

hi,

on some vod mp4 channel there is no picture...sometimes it will freeze or reboot enigma2...

some mp4 wont pkay over  cifs share..

Update - when playing a VOD channel and pressing help, if you go on pause/continue meun item it works. But the pause/play buttons does not. 

So I guess its not too difficult to make the buttons work.?

Hi, why there is no follow to this thread?

I consider openpli the best image and i won't switch to other images that handle vod buttons.

So, please, are you considering to implement the play/pause/stop/forward/rewind buttons on vod channels?

Because alllowing step skip from channel list blocks number zap... Not logical in a ui...

Imho, it is a great miss in openpli...
