Hello,

I have a problem, help me to solve it?
I have a Vu+Solo with OpenPLi 4.0 kernel 3.1.1 and I have a problem to configure the Sky digital key usb.

Install drivers af9035 on telnet (opkg update, opkg install kernel-module-mxl5007t, opkg install kernel-module-af9033, opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-af9035, opkg install firmware-dvb-usb-af9035-02, opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-v2) and when restart.. the decoder does not start, the screen remains black ..

perhaps the drivers are for a different kernel ? (kernel 3.9.6 )
it is possibile to enter the kernel driver 3.1.1  for the digital key usb dtt manually without a change image version?

or how can I fix my probem?

Thanks,

Greetings

1) opkg update

2)opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-a867

no other command.

enjoy

I think the problem (only with a867) will remain...

if some developers are interested to solving the problem I am willing to ship a device

Make sure that you have latest image flashed. Current kernel for solo is 3.9.6.

If the problem still exists when using 3.9.6, I suggest to have a try an OE-A image that includes some extra patches (currently not picked by VU+).

If OE-A works, then the extra patches required, so we can try to add them in VU+ tree too.

If the problem still exists, then most probably the original a867 driver should be compiled as mentioned here: http://askubuntu.com...n-kernel-3-13-3

Hi athoik, i' ve a solo2 and the a867 tuner doesn't work. What kind of test can i do?

Flash a new image, install the af9035 driver and report? What kind of report (dmesg,??)

I'm sure that with bh image tuner works.

Maybe the user tino81 could do a test with solo...

I'm sure that with bh image tuner works.

BH has closed source parts, one of them is the dvb-t extra patches/build they use.

So use latest OpenPLi and lets check after you installed the correct drivers if dvb-t usb stick is recognized

Commands that help in investigation:

1. lsusb
2. dmesg
3. cat /proc/bus/nim_sockets
4. uname -a

That is correct, you see the af9033_attach, this is your problem.

Try to install the missing kernel module "kernel-module-af9033" using the following commands.

opkg update
opkg install kernel-module-af9033
reboot
Then rerun the dmesg to see if there are any other issue or stick gets recognized.

You still have install the af9035 drivers and additionally install the missing kernel module?

If you installed a fresh image you need those two commands:

opkg install enigma2-plugin-drivers-dvb-usb-af9035
opkg install kernel-module-af9033

So i installed also

But after a restart the tuner isn't present
