Hello there,
I add 3 more lnb's to mt system so now i have 7 satlights, and for that i had to change my disecq to disecq of 8 inputs.
i tried to scan for services but it didn't find anything. I tried the advance mode and i know i have to use protocol 1.1 but i don't know how to config it excactly, the commited and uncommited and the input defenitions which i don't understand.
Can anyone try to help me please?
Thank you.

Actually no big difference, faster switching and just in case, repeat, if the command does not arrive.

@zeros, thanks. Never understood the repeat thiing. Never had any problems with switching speed. 30w is on a 12m cable run & the rest are only 5m.

@xanadoo. On a full scan of 30w there is about 300 services, TV, Radio, Data etc. So depending on your dish alignment and location (not forget about the weather this time of year over the Atlantic).

I'm in West London & am experincing some pretty bad break up, on some channels at the moment.

Hope we have been of some help.

Cheers Colin..

Just did a quick scan

Attached File  30w.jpg   40.6KB   3 downloads

Of course this number includes 100's of dead channels.

My suguestion. Download a settings file from the plugin feeds that has 30w on it. Then fiddle with your setup to get it working.

all the best Colin

@xanadoo,

you never say what stb you are using and what image.or when it was last updated. You will find this in Menu / Information / About

 You can get a custom satellies.xml from here

http://satellites-xml.eu

but updating you image will do it automatically for you.

You do Know that Meo only broadcast in S2, so you wont get anything on an S1 reciever.

Cheers Colin

S1 = DVB-S

S2 = DVB-S2

Most Providers will broadcast on a mixture of DVB-S & DVB-S2 Transponders.

If You have an older non HD box, you will most likely only be able to recieve channels from DVB-S transponders.

Your Vu+ is a HD reciever so you can recieve from both.

Meo only broadcasts on DVB-S2, so if you had an older SD box, you won't be able to recieve Meo, but you would be able to recieve SD NoS channels as they use both DVB-s & DVB-S2.

Of course, we wouldn't be having this conversation if you had said what STB you have, before asking a question.

Hope that is of some help

Cheers Colin

Here is PLi wiki:
http://wiki.openpli.org/E2Tuner
I have between the tuner and the DiSEqC ca 35 m cable, therefore, it is appropriate to repeat the command(s).
Fast DiSEqC works nicely, so why not use it!?

ColinB- i tried to scan for Meo in s1 and s2 and didn't get anything. Maybe the beam is different and not droadcast to my region.

Zeros-i don't understand. Im a bit new in this.
Can you explain please?

The Setup, which works best for me is this:
I'm sorry, not the DiSEqC 1.1 repeats, but Command order!!!

Hi,
I, myself, do not use the fast scan. Is it any of the other settings you have running?
