Hi there,

I have a small issue.

Since commit:https://github.com/O...b0069ae9e58f5e8

The enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser component isn't built anymore for mipsel (and mipsel-nf).

I only seem to get a package for sh4?

Here's what I've got after a openpli-enigma2-feed build:

tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/all/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser-dev_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_all.ipk
tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/all/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser-dbg_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_all.ipk
tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/all/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser-staticdev_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_all.ipk
tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/sh4/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_sh4.ipk

Any ideas?

no problem here /?/ (however, I'm building for mips32el boxes only...)

maybe to -ccleansstate enigma2-plugins would help?

I found out what happens.

When I build for mipsel (for example DM800Se), it's built and paced in the feed:

tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/mips32el/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_mips32el.ipk

But then I build for some other arch e.g. sh4.

It's like the plugin is removed from mipsel and placed under sh4:

tmp/deploy/pli/ipk/sh4/enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-networkbrowser_x-git4127+e621fe5-r0_sh4.ipk

I have a batch script which builds for all my favorite machines and since spark is the last one that gets built, the plugin ipk is only found under sh4.

Why is it behaving like this?

Now that you guys have added support for Wetek Play (featuring the most shitty cable tuner ever found in a dvb-receiver imo) you must have the same problem since it uses the arm arch.

We already had the solo4k of course (arm as well), before these problems appeared.

Well I can always build for mipsel, push the feed to the server and than continue to build for sh4 I guess.

Thanks anyways :)

So your observations is that you cannot mix multiple PACKAGE_ARCH with populate_packages.

If this is an OE-core bug, bitbake developers should informed in order to fix that.

If that is not supported operation, the we need to split the C++ out of those packages as MiLo suggested.

I don't know, someone should test it I guess.

e.g. checkout master:

- Build for a mipsel receiver and check that the plugin exists.

- Then build again for a arm receiver and check whether the plugin exists for both architectures (not only for arm).

Then attempt the same test for master-next.

If it's indeed a bug in OE-core, then it could be that it's solved in master-next since it uses a much more recent snapshot I guess.

And I believe the official PLi-4 images based on 'master' are only available for mipsel receivers so you don't encounter such issue there.

However since I'm still building from what used to be 'gst-1'... I'm using the same OE-core as master for multiple architectures (mipsel-nf, mipsel and sh4).

But like I said, I can just build for arch A, push everything to the webserver, then continue to build for arch B.

Or just revert the enigma2-plugins.bb back to MACHINE_ARCH (which I'll probably do since it saves me the extra steps..)
