Since that transponder on Eutelsat 5 West changed parameters last week, I can't receive it on any of my enigma receivers (DMM and Xtrend).

Last week parameters were 12690 V. DVB-S2  8PSK  30000  3/5 , and now they are suposed to be SR 29950 and FEC 3/4.

I've read anywhere that enigma receivers have problems tuning to that signal, however other cheap receivers can lock the frequency.

Does anybody receive it using any enigma2 receiver ?

It's really strange.

Last week I received it perfectly, and since changed parameters, I've lost it completely.

All other frequencies on this satellite are ok, including the one on the algerian beam. (11059 H).

Apparently your reception is really too marginal for this transponder.

12690 is 2090 MHz on the cable which is on the upper limit and cable losses are bigger. A bad cable at some point will introduce higher losses at 12690 than 11900 for example.

But it's strange, last week was ok, just changing SR from 30000 to 29950, has no logical reason to produce this.

Dish is ok, cable is ok.

12564 V. is 12.1 dB ,

12732 V. is 12.8 dB (75% SNR)

all other transponders have more that 10 dB.

OK, but then 12732 V. should be worse, and it isn't....

Just the symbol rate? Not the FEC or QPSK vs. 8PSK?

FEC was 3/5 , now it's suposed to be 3/4.

If I got it perfectly with 3/5, I can't get it zero with 3/4.

If it were 9/10, it'd be possible, but not with this little difference,

DVB-S2 8PSK, unchanged.

It's an X-File....

It can also be that a transponder on a lower frequency ks coming in too hard overdriving the receiver....

Very unlikely. I'd rather suspect something in their own environment causing interference, to an already low-quality signal (SNR values from the are not always trustworthy).
