Hi, i have a vu+solo with a fresh image from today. Then i run on telnet
opkg update opkg upgrade enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport opkg upgrade enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec
After a reboot i configure the sources (rytec italy) but when i try to start the import manually
[EPGImport] Error at start: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'endswith'
Why? What i missed?
On my solo2 working well with the same commands/configuration.

That looks like a bug that has been fixed weeks ago...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I have the same problem.
Same error.
I tried everything possible.
I flashed the vu+ solo many times with different official version of opli 4.0.
Nothing happened all the time I receive the same mistake.
[EPGImport] Error at start: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'endswith'

Just checked the log on my box, no problems with this mornings import?

Just checked the log on my box, no problems with this mornings import?
Do you have a solo? Mine today, after a software upgrade, same error. On solo2 no problem.

No, I don't. But as the plugin is not hardware dependent, I wouldn't know what would be different. There is only one version of the plugin.

The error line suspects the plugin needs a sanity check for not give the GSOD... but somehow it also suggested it is related that it did not recieve data...

Why only on solo? Could be related to version of python packages?

First step is to know where the error comes from, because this single line doesn't really help... Can you post the entire log?

Yes, but it isn't very verbose...

The file epgimport.conf is present, configured for rytec italy.
After 35 minutes no events imported. But if i try again a manual download the log say

As you see in the log... it is not present... 
(possibly renamed? typo?)

I'm absolutely sure that the file is present! Why the next lines say

I have been also tried a copy/paste file from a (working) solo2. Same error..

Nope this was never fixed !
I posted about this a few months ago and no one could find the answer even after posting my logs and my dmesg ect
Ive had to resort to using the older version from before the plugin was updated and locking it down using the chattr command to prevent it being updated to the newer version when I update the image online.

VU+ Solo
The bug affects only Gen 1 VU+ boxes.
Gen 2 are unaffected.

For the sake of comparison, I have selected Italy on my receiver (ET-9500) in the EPGimport and saved the configuration.
The image of the file is attached. (I cannot see a difference with your file).
