Hi folks,

It took me a while to build these because there were lots of small bugs and user requests.

I did my best to answer them all.

But due to my limited time I couldn't fulfill all of them, so my apologies if I didn't respond to a PM or forum-post.

So anyways.. there are lots of changes compared to my last images.

Too much for me to remember, so I guess:

 - Added new receivers: Zgemma H5 and LC, Vu+ Solo 4K, XpeedC (whatever that is) and Atemio Nemesis (user-request, not tested at all so beware).

   There are no Wetek builds and I ain't gonna build them, so don't ask.

 - I've fixed the feed for mips32el-nf receivers (et4x00, hd1100, hd500c and xp1000).

 - Oscam bumped to rev. 11211 with Joeuser's patch (yes I know you guys were waiting for this one).

 - Lots of fixes for spark and spark7162 with the help of my great friend Taapat, they should be of equal quality as other PLi 4 images now.

   The libeplayer versions are in the "eplayer" directory, everything else is gstreamer.

 - No more patches to enigma2's servicemp3.cpp (except the one for aac transcoding), so it should reflect the current state now.

 - Latest gstreamer 1.7.1 master head as of today.

 - Many backports from master-next and Taapat.

 - Lot's of small things I forgot.

Note:

 - If you get corrupted jpeg images on spark/spark7162 the hardware decoder is not working for you, simply login using telnet and type:

  rm -f /usr/lib/libmme_host.so

  Then restart enigma2 and they should display fine

- Zram is now disabled by default on spark/spark7162, if would like to use it anyways, simply login using telnet and type:

  touch /etc/gimme-zram

  Then reboot your receiver.

If I didn't mess up badly this time, this will be my last round of public images.

I don't think there's any benefit for releasing gstreamer master head images anymore, since the next stable gstreamer release will hit master-next and oe-alliance anyways.

And most work went into supporting non-PLi-supported receivers which takes lots and lots of time.

Thank you all for the great feedback !

You're the best!

Thank you MastaG

Good job

Testing on Spark 7111 as usual best image for IPTV very stable.
2 bugs for me :
- Can't read mkv movies with internal or external movie player.
- The VFD can't be configured and default display hurts eyes always switching beetween time and channel number.

Regards

oxejatte:

- Aare you using the eplayer or gstreamer build?

- The VFD is the same on my spark7162, I believe OpenATV has code added to their enigma2 source for displaying the channel name, but it's too much work to look into for right now.

  So you have to do it with the channel number / time.

Btw. I've forgot to add the et6x00 build.

It should be there if you refresh the link in the first link.

If not, then let me know, I'll create a new one.

@MastaG speaking about 7111.

In my enigma, for text on the display does not respond needlessly and the resources spending plugins.
What will be displayed may be specified in /usr/share/enigma2/skin_display.xml
Anyone with a minimal knowledge in the skins can change what he wants to see on display in in each screens individually.

Thank you Taapat.

I can confirm that mkv files don't play from usb, at least on my spark7162 receiver.

Can anyone else test this out on a mips receiver and report back asap?

I guess there have to be a new build now.

Hi MastaG,

i installed your latest image in my et9000.Unfortunately i can't play any video or audio file with mediaplayer.

I tried mkv,avi,mp4,divx,xvid,wma,wav,ogg,mp3.They don't even start.

Also i get spinners when selecting every next file from playlist.Enigma log doesn't give any info or error,(only something about ca-certificates).

I went back to your previous image which works fine.

Bye.

p.s.  In download section of plugins everyone of them is appearing twice.

@cornetster

Yes, I've forgot to mention don't try an online upgrade from a previous image.. it will most likely mess up badly.

@mworker

Yes I cannot play files from the media player either.

It seems the latest gstreamer 1.7.1 master branch broke something for enigma2.

It hangs for me as well:

root@spark7162:/media/usb# gst-launch-1.0 playbin uri=file:///media/usb/22.bullets.2010.720p.BrRip.x264.YIFY.mp4
Setting pipeline to PAUSED ...
Pipeline is PREROLLING ...
^Chandling interrupt.
Interrupt: Stopping pipeline ...
ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll.
Setting pipeline to NULL ...
Freeing pipeline ...

I'll look into this later.

@sportfootbol
Which receiver do you have?
Does it freeze when trying the open the plugin or when attempting to playback a video?

In case its the plugin menu freezing your receiver, then please check if it happens on official PLi images as well.
In case its the video playback, then try to upgrade the software.
The gstreamer bug is fixed in the feed.
