Another bug:

1) Play any record

2) Put your stb into standby

3) Turn it on

4) There is no sound on a playback record

5) When you stop playing record and zap to any channel - still no sound

6) The sound only comes back after enigma's restart

This is for sure a vu driver issue.. This was already also reported for the other vu boxes...

No, no...

This no drivers problem.

This issue appeared six months ago.

1) Play any record

2) Put your stb into standby

3) Turn it on

VU+ model --> not sound

ET --> does not work unpause play

When see log:

device is busy c++ part (eDVBVolumecontrol.getInstance().volumeToggleMute() or self.infoBarInstance.unPauseService())

What exactly do you

Recording a movie and playing the same move or on other movie?

Then going to standby without stoping the playing movie?

Only playing the movie, recorded in the past (for example yesterday).

Then going to standby _without_ stoping the playing movie.

Edit:
When I get home, I check scenario _with_ pause, before standby.

I´ve tested it on et9000 with openpli vom 20.02.2016.

It works fine.

Playing a recorded Movie

goto standby (directly from the movie)

leave standy

the movie runs with audio

Another scenario:

1 Standby after pause on playback movie

2) stb turn on

3) Suprise - movie is playing (auto started?) without sound and we can see the pause symbol on top osd.
4a) When we push pause button & play again we have a working sound.
or
4b) Try jump to the position (numerical buttons on remote) or rewind/forward - we have a working sound and... we can still see the pause symbol on top osd

I´ve tested that today on et9000 with play, pause, standby, run =>

You are right, the movie runs and the screen shows the pause state.

But on et9000 the sound is there

So playing movie and showing pause after going to standby and going on is an openpli bug.

But the no sound problem seems not be an openpli bug

This sounds typically like a driver bug:

- it doesn't happen on all receivers

- it can be solved by skipping or fast-forwarding

Just tested on the Solo2:

Play -> Pause -> Standby -> Switch on -> Video plays with sound but the pause button is displayed

Play -> Standby -> Switch on -> Video plays but no sound

Ook voor de "oude" Duo kan ik dit bevestigen!
For the "old" Duo In can also confirm this

Pedro at least founds something when you press pauze before standby...

Now standby.py does stop and replay the service... And does not pause/stop and replay it via the Infobar.... Probably we should consider to change that... Just pause and play it from standby.py...

In my previous post I made a mistake... pause and unpause is arranged via the infobar.... Strange that it keeps in pause in the example above,,,

Why it stayed in pause I likely could already clarify... look at pause service and unpause service in the InfobarGenerics...

Can we split this topic off? This thread is about the VU+ Solo4k. If behaviour with the same enigma2 code is different, it simply must be a driver issue.

Good plan to split this one..

It could be related to the events when the play start... the drivers of VU might have different timing there... That could be a reason why when it was in pauze before standby that on the screen we see pauze while it is still playing...
