Here: https://github.com/openmips/stbgui

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Is that an LNB with built-in JESS support, that you can directly connect to a tuner? Or does that still require an additional JESS switch?

LNB connects direct to the STB. LNB -> cable -> STB.

Yes, sort of builtin-switch. So it's comparable to an 32-output LNB I guess. And all of these can be V/H/LO/HI at will?

In which case we should arrange one or more of those LNB's, so we can build the support in and properly test it. Doesn't really cost an arm and a leg...

Y. And all of these can be V/H/LO/HI at will?

It can record from all 4 sub-bands concurrently. The 32 channels can be any combination of sub-bands.

The following is Solo4K with Tuners A, C, D, and E configured (and old drivers). Emitor Satlook Color with a DC blocker inline so analyser doesn't interfere.

Watching one channel.

Recording 3 and watching another, each on a different sub-band.

But still someone needs to offer us a JESS configuration -or- someone who has a JESS configuration needs to offer us a good patch that can be accepted... ;) :D

The following code is working and has been briefly tested in OpenPLi.

I think it is an excellent start when it is already working right away on openpli. Thanks huevos!!! Very appreciated!!!

But I still think some small quality, streamlines and cleanups as fai I could evaluate that patch. It already started with defining colors....why?

The commit seems to miss changes to unicable.xml?

Colors - are not needed, but depends from personal point of view. Colors make live-debug quicklier readable - file, line, function, message:

Please note that the patch will probably no longer match after the FBC patches.

The colored debug is a good idea... but this should be a different patch.... and a different topic ;)

Hi,

Be careful with this:  the message itself white and defined warnings yellow

Mac OSX users will come and cry because by default the background is white for a terminal/telnet session, so the text will become unreadable for them.

@Littlesat, I forked from the OpenPLi Enigma2 master branch last night and then merged the JESS code to that. And then built the image and did basic checks to be certain it was working. Images attached above are from OpenPLi (OE master-next, E2 master) built last night. So all the FBC patches are there (unless they haven't been pushed to github by OpenPLi yet).

@arn354, yes, I didn't include the xml file as that can just be dropped in later from any source. The commit includes the 12 files where code had to be merged.

It is not from ATV. Merge conflicts from there to PLi made that too difficult. Changes are from OpenMIPS with a few merge conflicts sorted out.
