I would also consider to go for traditional (fast) mode as this is the default...

I removed the JESS patches from the next-master.... but I keep the JESS branch (and try to keep it in sync).

Just for the info. I am using a OpenVIX image with JESS implemented in it for 24/7 live broadcasting over iptv on my ET-10000 and it works without any problem.
Please reconsider adding it to the master.
Jess is by the way only usefull when using more then first 8 slots of the LNB. The first 8 work fine with OPENPLI by the way. When using more than 8 then you need JESS capable image. On my ET10000 I am using 8 9 10 where 9 and 10 is JESS. In my config it works fine, i only really like the look and feel of the OPENPLI image.

That's because the first 8 SCR's are backwards compatible (they are compliant to the Unicable I protocol).
