Show me please two double timers from the timer list.
What can I find them in your timers.xml.

I told you I cleaned up the timerlist, it may take a few days to see some doubles again in the list.

having said that, the 2nd example above does seem to fit the description : 3x "cold case" with same starting & ending times & service reference.

the 1st example are 2 different recordings.

 

I'll post a new example when some doubles have been created again. And it's not always the same starting/ending time, sometimes these times are a few minutes diffent.

Update autotimer plugin and enable new option "Reload timers list after search events".

updated, "reload timers list after search events" set to yes, double timers deleted from the list.

we'll see how this is working out - I'll keep you up to date.

checked the list today & found 2 "near double" timers :

I write "near" double as the starting & ending times are different, but as more than 80% is common both timers should have been processed as one timer (with the most recent adaptations). This has not happened - the epg time has changed but in stead of adjusting the existing timer(s), autotimer created new timer(s).

Maybe problem this:

Margin after/before  recording (minutes) -->image

and

autotimer same offset

 

Autotimer is very delicate instrument and requires a very careful adjustment.

Maybe while you are at it:

 

the 100% you've implemented is displayed as 1.0 when you open the timer again (not sure this is cosmetic). And worse, it doesn't work. If you set the timer to 100% (meaning title and descriptions MUST be 100% equal), duplicate timers are still being created (even though everything is 100% equal). If you set the timer to 90% instead of 100%, no new timer is created.
