p.s.

With all respect off You're works, but in general an stb has not enough ram and cpu power to burn reliable a dvd and or cd unless you dedicate it to do just that task but ....

So in this respect it would be nice to just concentrate about the reading off dvd and cd and solve the little issues still present instead off trying to right when reading is still not 100 % ok .

I think it is entirely up to Dimitrij how he likes to spend his free time. Neither me nor you have any say in that.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

My first CD writing machine had a 166MHz CPU and something like 64MB RAM. I used to play Quake on that machine while burning CDRs.

Current DVD/CD writers all have underrun protection, whereas on that old machine, underrun meant instant $15 coaster.

The dm8000 already had plenty power to write DVDs at 8x (probably faster to, but my writer was only 8x). Watching movies while burning was no problem.

Do you have it somewhere on github??? (e.g. e2openplugins when possible?)

More important, does it contain executables?

If there are executables, the first step is to try to remove them and get them from the feed. If they're not in the feed, split the package into a package that contains the plugin and a package that contains the executable(s). First will have arch "all", the second the arch of the receiver it should run on.

Then post a patch / cherry-pick commit to add it to the enigma-plugins repo, or even better, add it to e2openplugins.

This plugin only mips platform.

No executables files.

The new version will not be developed.

Just add to 3rdparty-plugins feed and all.

This is the simplest solution.

If it doesn't contain executables, then it should be "all" arch, not "mipsel".

Then it's just as broken as the old DVD burner plugin.

I just downloading binary projectx for mipsel

projectx 10.050.804 bytes !!!, projectx with upx compressed
upx --lzma projectx
1.978.924 bytes, starts a bit slower (half a second) on my 750mhz receiver, advantage less flash space
