nothing is wrong with OpenPLi, I think he just want to sort the channels, you can use Enigma2 GUI to sort the channels or use DreamboxEdit (a Win application), first try GUI, press OK (for Neutrino style) then press menu then move channels and then rearange them in way you want

DreamBoxEdit messes up with the numbering as it does not handle the number markers....

When you press channel up or down button (channel selection can be seen), press menu. Select settings and then 6th from top (alternative mode); select Yes. All entries will start with 1 and continue from there.

What is a recommended Windows-based channel editor?

@nasko711206:

A more detailed description of your channel problem would help. Or a screenshot, but it doesn't have to be.

If you simply want to organize the channels yourself, use the application for Windows - DreamboxEdit (completely free) or E-Channelizer (without payment, it has limited functions).

These mentioned applications allow you to connect to your set-top box via a computer network (usually it's a LAN). Then you download all these channel lists from the set-top box -> to the application. Edit they as needed. And finally, then... you upload the channel lists back to the set-top box.

If you mean a different channel order that happened "randomly" (???), then the channel order has probably been switched. For example, it is possible that you see all channels together - i.e. sorted by provider or by another category. And not according to your sorting in userbouquet files (so-called sorting according to "favorite channels"). If I'm not mistaken, this can be switched with some colored buttons on the RCU, at the moment when the channel list is open.

You can also use the remote control press menu in channel list and start creating your bouquets from there, add channels into them and arrange there order like you want.

You don't need third party tools for this.
