I recently tuned into Badr 4 and noticed most MBC channels are without (or wrong) EPG

 

I can only list the channels I can receive:

 

Eutelsat 21B, 21.5°E

MBC Maghreb Al-Arabia: 1:0:1:1:1:1:D7AD3E:0:0:0: (don't know which EPG it is showing now, noticed this before that lots of channels are showing this EPG)

 

Badr4, 26°E

MBC Bollywood: 1:0:1:1:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (no EPG)

MBC1: 1:0:1:2:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (no EPG)

MBC2: 1:0:1:3:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (correct EPG)

MBC3: 1:0:1:4:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (no EPG)

MBC4: 1:0:1:5:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (I assume correct EPG)

MBC Action: 1:0:1:6:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (I assume correct EPG. Now and next are showing 'Action ya Dawry' instead of the correct program, what's that?)

Ref.ID 1:0:1:8:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (IDENT is MBC Group 2) is showing no program but I assume EPG of MBC Max?

This service ref is not included in the channels file.

The Namespace D7AD3 is not there.  However there are a lot of channels with the first part of this service ref: 1:0:1:1:1:1:

If you use Crossepg this will lead to problems, because Crossepg does not use the Namespace.  So all these channels will receive multiple EPG's

 

MBC Action: 1:0:1:6:200:2BE:1040000:0:0:0: (I assume correct EPG. Now and next are showing 'Action ya Dawry' instead of the correct program, what's that?)

As far as I know I don't use Cross-EPG, how could I check this?
In EPG settings all other systems (EIT, MHW, Freesat, Viasat, Netmed and Virgin) are disabled.

I beleive it, but at that moment a film was showing, right now a sports program is showing and again 'Action ya Dawry' in EPG...
But if the grab is like that, then nothing you could change about it. Maybe the other source what El Sato is talking about.

Yes, this will probably work.

 

However, in order to grab this I need the latest version of the grabber.  And for the rest of the XMLTV file (of this source) I am still using an old version.

So I have to test the rest of the file first how this performs using the new grabber version.  (I had serious problems with rucksichtloss using the new version.)

 

If you can point me to the schedule of the other MBC channels on OSN , I can look if I can switch them over.

(I do not read Arabic)

Sorry.

They are outside my scope.

In the past I have included some of these.  But they are very difficult to obtain.

And since I am downscaling due to my health, I will not pursue these any further.

 

I am concentrating on maintaining what I have.  Not expanding it.
