The channel name is Smithsonian Channel UK HD

The schedule you indicate is the US schedule.

Tried to find a Uk schedule but failed.  I always end up with the US schedule.

I wonder if it is the same?

It is expected that the channel will lunch on the 12th of February 2019 on the Sky and Freesat platforms.

By that time, I suspect there will be UK schedule published.

Pls. remind me around that time.

When I wrote you, the program on air was the same.

They're testing it for 2 months now.

OK. I will try.  The schedule is however in EST (US time zone New York)  (UTC-5:00)

Have you taken this into consideration, or is it the same time as given on the website?

Then there is the question UK time (GMT) or (West-European - GMT+1)

With other words, where are you located.

Another question:  Is the channel FTA or is it coded?

As I understand it, it is FTA: https://www.lyngsat....Channel-UK.html

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Hi Willy,

A new channel was launched called

1:0:1:d7a1:840:2:11a0000:0:0:0: - High Street TV5.

I found this in the xml file

<!-- 28.2E --><channel id="Movies4MenPlus1.uk">1:0:1:D7A1:840:2:11A0000:0:0:0:</channel><!-- mov4men+1 -->

Looks like the Movies 4 Men was using this reference a while ago so it;s showing the wrong guide.

Can you please remove this from Movies 4 Men and add a new grab for High Street TV5.

Cheers

Willy

Still no schedule for Smithsonian HD.

The channel has his own EPG just for current and next event.

But there is EPG on this channel ID of Eir Sport 2 https://www.eirsport...date=2019-02-27

Can you remove it?

Just erased all EPG and downloaded fresh one, but I'm still getting mixed one with Eir Sport 2 (I think).

Did you re start your reciever?

If not, a second download of the day will use the channels downloaded in the first download.  Now this channels file was edited in between.

Chances are that the download of this morning, downloaded the new. channels file.

If this did not happen, you have to force a new download of the channels file, by erasing all EPG and giving your receiver a cold reboot.
