Pick won’t cease broadcasting, it’s a temporary encryption due to rights reasons, however, that copy of Pick and Pick HD are showing the wrong programme guide. There is a separate one for Pick UK and Pick Ireland at the moment. On Pick HE, I’m getting Pick Ireland for the moment.

Service and transponder are different things. I was referring to the existing (at the time) transponder. Hence why I just said add. Otherwise I would have said please remove X and add Y.

I know you were, but if you look on your box, only an encryption flag is set. That’s not the same as what you said. That variant of Pick can’t be seen outside the UK, which is why the picture isn’t there. It is, however, showing Pick UK, which Pick HD is also showing.

Gist of what I asked him to do was to add the new ones and leave the old ones as they were. If that is wrong, please tell Willy what he needs to add/remove.

The schedule isn't the same though, which is what I have asked him to change.

What schedule should he add for the Freesat version?

There must be more going on, because a valid card won't decode it either:

2020/06/19 17:39:05 1DF340E6 r (reader) SKY-UK [videoguard2] Not a valid ecm

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

That’s strange, as on a real Sky box it’s still available. At least there’s a FTA version in HD.

This is the funny thing, on a Freesat receiver, the SD version is showing the dashcam, and the HD service is FTA and showing the football (12363 V 27500). They are going to rename some of services to Sky Pick in a few days.

Interesting discussion.

Only, I do not understand what I have todo with it.

On the sky website this are the possibilities:

Pick

Pick+1

Pick

Both versions of Pick list 16:00-19:00 Live FNF: Norwich vs Southampton.

In the channels file there is this:

Line 13687:
1:0:1:16C4:7DB:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

Line 13688:
1:0:19:16C5:7F2:2:11A0000:0:0:0:

Line 13690:
1:0:1:16CC:7E3:2:11A2F26:0:0:0:

Then they'll probably move to SKY's icam encryption as well, meaning the end of reception on a non-sky box, like the other HD channels on that transponder.

Both versions of Pick list 16:00-19:00 Live FNF: Norwich vs Southampton.

There are now two different channels called "Pick".

The SKY version on 12363V and 12070H, which is currently showing "Live FNF: Norwich v Southampton", and the Freesat version on 12148H, currently showing "Caught on dashcam".

Interestingly, the freeview DVB-T version also shows the football, and not the dashcam programme...

I highly doubt it, as Pick is meant to be a way in for viewers to buy a full Sky card and show programmes from a few years ago on pay tv in the clear. I suspect the rebrand is to bring it in line with other rebrands, like Real Lives becoming Sky Comedy & History becoming Sky History. I think it’s just consistency amongst the channel names, but they won’t put it behind a pay wall.

This channel needs the epg changed to the one you’ve found on the sky site. As does this one: 1:0:1:16C8:7E3:2:11A2F26:0:0:0: .

Thanks Willy,

STV HD is now fixed but ITV Border England HD is still showing local news as "ITV Central News". Of course, the data itself could be wrong.
