The hosts file is in /etc/
Add there the statement:
127.0.0.1 epg.vuplus-community.net
Any call to epg.vuplus-community.net will go then to your receiver itself.
No data will be found, and the download fails.
EPGimport will then take automatically the next download server.
The second method is to edit rytec.sources.xml in /etc/epgimport/
Open rytec.sources.xml in an editor (Notepad++ or PSPad - either editor will do but not Windows Notepad)
Do a search and replace and replace epg.vuplus-community.net with some dummy value, like dummy.net
This dummy server will not be found, and EPGimport will take automatically a new server.
PS: The epg.vuplus-community.net server is still off-line, but I cannot update it.
Got finally an answer this morning, but it still does not work automatically. Although I can update the site now with Filezilla
