All other regional variations of ITV (and ITV +1) are already known to you?

And what about BBC One, BBC Two, Channel 4 (and Channel 4 +1), STV? They all have regional variations too

Besides that, other channels have a UK and Ireland and sometimes Pub version, like Film 4, Challenge, Pick, Sky News etc.

Or maybe it's not important because only commercials are different?

However,  I am not sure they are all correct.

And there is definitely dead wood included in these.

If I feel like it and have the time I could have a look into that?

That is if we assume the data on Lyngsat and or Flysat and King of Sat is correct.

That is the problem.

So I leave it, and when it creates a problem, somebody will complain about it.  (Sorry)

I looked into those some time ago, afaik they are all still correct.

The few that weren't where corrected by Willy (I recall ITV Central HD for example).

Great work, after I sent the message I though the same.
If no-one complains, no-one obviously has a problem with it.

I tend to check the regional news and weather forecasts on the evening before I travel, which allows me to see when things go wrong. ;)

Hi Willy,

Thanks for that update for Be3 ...

Also can I ask what channel references you use for BT Sport 2 & 3? I seem to have a duplicate EPG for both?

Cheers,

Nitemare.

Hi Willy,

I checked and yes it does seem i'm getting duplicate EPG for my BT Sport 2 & 3 channels.

My BT Sport 2 channel ref is 1:0:1:D020:83F:2:11A0000:0:0:0 (which on your table above the Channel ID is for BT Sport 3)

and my BT Sport 3 channel ref is 1:0:1:D7DC:840:2:11A0000:0:0:0 (which is BT sport Europe on above table)

Each channel is as it should be on screen but the EPG is confused? Any advice on what to do?

Thanks again.

Changed the refs according to your findings.

But what do you mean with the remark duplicate entries?

1. The schedule of 2 channels mixed up?

or

2. The same schedule with slightly different starting times?

As I cannot find duplicate assignments for these service refs (although they are sometime hard to spot), I assume you refer to the second effect.

The solution here is:

1. Clear all epg in the receiver before importing.  In the import plug-in there is an option provided for that.

2. Switch off all EIT, OpenTV aand other internal EPG sources.  There are options in the enigma2 UI to cater for this.

Hi Willy,

Yes it appears that both channels are sharing an EPG ... though I noticed with VERY slightly difference in each programme details?

I've no EIT etc switched on but I'll try a complete EPG renew later today just in case!

My concern was that my channel references didn't tally with yours especially as there are quite a few SID options for each BT channel on same satellite transponder.

Thanks for your time Willy to help ... appreciated!!  :)

Hi Willy,

Well I found the issue ...

BT Sport 3 (11344V with SID 55260, 1:0:1:D7DC:840:2:11A0000:0:0:0) was showing the BT Sport 2 EPG

The other BT Sport 3 service on same transponder (SID 55211) 1:0:1:D7AB:840:2:11A0000:0:0:0 is showing the correct EPG for the channel. I amended my channel settings accordingly ...

Hope this helps you and others?

Thanks,

Nitemare :)
