Finally, your device is recognized. As I said the device crash with a kernel error.

This is report to linux developers and hope the problem with the older mipsel devices will been solved soon.

Yes, it works on quite a few boxes.

There is a kernel problem with BCM362 and BCM7358 chipset. Hope with a new kernel update it will been fixed.

I have problem with Geniatech-T230 on Vu+ Zero.

I use  drivers repacked from Solo2 (change 'vusolo2' to 'vuzero' in CONTROL file) - http://zalil.su/1564869

Installation of drivers is successful:

But stick do not work. There are no DVB-C/T2 tuners.

I have the geniatech T230 working on my mutant HD2400
installed
kernel-module-dvb-usb-cxusb
firmware-dvb-fe-si2168
kernel-module-si2157
kernel-module-si2168

...

Hi,

I just test again the MyGica T230 USB DVB-C/T/T2 stick on my box with OpenPLi 6.x

The package:  firmware-dvb-fe-si2168 no longer exist in the repository.

So you need to install the following packages too:

firmware-dvb-demod-si2168-b40
firmware-dvb-tuner-si2158-a20

So the full list to install is:

opkg update && opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-cxusb \
kernel-module-si2157 \
kernel-module-si2168 \
firmware-dvb-demod-si2168-b40 \
firmware-dvb-tuner-si2158-a20

Reboot the box after installation.

Based on this:
https://www.linuxtv..../Geniatech_T230

Remark:

If you don't install the firmware (so only the kernel modules) your USB stick will be detected and integrated in the OpenPLi menu but it will not work. You will always get no signal.

Helo all. Tell me if it is possible to add this device to VU + Zero rev.2. Installed on openPli8.0.

Geniatech T230C2

Device identifies as idVendor=0572, idProduct=c68a:

# journalctl -xb
kernel: usb 1-1.3: new high-speed USB device number 4 using dwc_otg
kernel: usb 1-1.3: New USB device found, idVendor=0572, idProduct=c68a
kernel: usb 1-1.3: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3
kernel: usb 1-1.3: Product: EyeTV Stick
kernel: usb 1-1.3: Manufacturer: Geniatech

on Windows and Linux Mint (with a kernel of 5.4) - everything is fine.
