Hello,

I have a Vu Duo2 with HDD where I record films. At the same time I also have 2 Vu Solo in use, to those I stream the recordings that are on the HDD of Duo2. For a few days this works not with one solo. For a few days I updated  a Solo and Duo 2 with the latest OpenPli.image. From the other solo, where is still an older image on it of access still works. There are configured on two solos the same network shares for Duo2. The updated boxes there since the update on the network released a menu 4 menu item called user management. Whether it so what is all about? I can not sSetting here but. Maybe someone can help. It has something to do in any case with the current image. Thanks in advanceBest
Greeting Matthias

If you use cifs/smb to connect to the Duo2:

If the last time you updated was some time ago, then chances are you had a kernel update. In newer kernels, the cifs parameters have changed, including a new secure default authentication mechanism.

You can try to add "sec=ntlm" or "sec=ntlmv2" to the mount options to address this.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

How did you make the disk mount between the boxes?

As said, change the options (Freigabeoptionen) to "rw,sec=ntlm", or if that doesnt work, "rw,sec=ntlmv2".
