I am using standard skin on my receivers (Vu solo2 and Zero), few days ago after an update process where was an upgrade of an skin - I have no longer a second info bar shown when I double press OK on remote.
What has happened?

The second infobar, the one of the now and next programme information? That is still there.
Or do you perhaps mean the sat en encoding info at the top of the second infobar? In that case, press long-Ok on the second infobar page, until it reloads with the detailed information.

Nope - long OK doesen't work it.
Second info bar of coding system, signal bar etc.

What skin do you use then? As far as I know, this has been implemented in all PLi HD skins.
first ok - infobar
second ok - simple second infobar
long-ok on this screen: toggle between with and without reception and encryption details
I have a Vu Zero at hand here, and it works fine on it (with the PLi-FullNightHD skin installed).

When you see this screen hold the OK button.... When this does not work then an upgrade did not work in the very past...

Finally managed on Solo2, but on Zero no go....
Why change that part of the OSD anyhow in the skin?

Because a lot of users are not interested at all in all the technical mumbo-jumbo on the screen. I for one couldn't care less which encryption is used, what the DVB parameters are, and what the reception percentage at all times is.
It works fine on my zero, this is what I have installed:

It can be in the past for some reason an upgrade did not work properly....
The safest way to restore this is reflash... (with auto restore/install)...
You could also try...
telnet/putty to your box...
init 4
(when you had enimga2-src installed) opkg remove enigma2-src
opkg install enigma2-src
init 3
(and when you didn't had enigma2-src installed) opkg remove enigma2-src
Which is why you can toggle the second infobar to get that information. For those who want it.

And I made that that way so you do not need a config in a deep menu... you can simply swap modes....
I'm have the idea to do the same with weather info on the normal infobar...

looks like it only works in Enigma style, not Neutrino, if you set in user interface "enable OK for channel selection" to yes, it just doesn´t work, you have to disable it first, "enable OK for channel selection" --> no, in Enigma style works with long OK, then back "enable OK for channel selection" --> yes, it shows ECM pids and SNR, go figure

Since the above change I can no longer show the 'crypt info on Info bar'. The option is set to Yes in the User Interface setup but nothing is shown.

To enable that option you do the following.
1. Push 'ok' twice to open the second infobar.
2. When the second infobar is active, push and hold the ok button.
3. After a few seconds the crypt info is again shown in he second infobar.

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.
