Couple of questions

I work always remotely, and the remote upgrade is more important, then using the USB stick to flash the new image.
How is OpenPLi user friendly with online upgrades please?
Does it work same as Debian for example?
How does the process look, for example, if I want to upgrade from the version 3 to 4, then 4 to 5 etc please?
Cheers,

In general you need to flash when there is a version change. And in some cases when there is a kernel change, but that greatly depends on the change itself (the recent kernel updates for some boxes went fine with a standard update).
There is no online flash option available at the moment.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I see the point.
It seems to be, there isn't the "gold" solution for updates still.
As far as I remember, there are few branches to flash the box.
Stable, maybe nightbuilds, and as I remember, there is the chance (or maybe it's already released) the version 5 over the horizon.
To which branch shall I stick to take mostly non-flashable transition to the stable 5 please?
Can l change branch on the fly as well
I'm on Vuduo2.
Mostly, I am looking for working Plex, IPTV stuff etc, with maybe everyday shadow backups to my home DFS share.
Cheers,
