I've a problem with my new VU# SoloSEv2.

 

Before some Infos:

VU+ SoloSEv2 with latest OpenPLI Image, Twin DVB-S2 Tuner (both cabled), PAU installed.

 

Now the problem:

I try to stream from the box in different ways (Kodi vu+ pvr plugin, openwebif, emby with vu+ plugin).

This works in Kodi, if i activate "zap before stream" in the pvr plugin. But not if I disable this option. In my thoughts it should even work with the option disabled because of the twintuner.

If i disable the "zap before stream" option the stream keeps dark until i zap on the appropiate channel manually on the box.

Also if the option is disabled and you try to stream another channel then the one watched on tv you can see that both tuner are activ? (the colored A and B nexto the Channel description)

 

Via the openwebif if you try to stream another channel, than the one beeing watched on tv, the stream keeps dark until you zap to the channel manually you want to stream.

 

Recording to USB and watching another channel at the same time is working.

 

Is this a known problem and are there any fixes/workarounds?

Hi,

 

How have you configured your 2 tuners?   (Same as..., loopback by ..., individual settings?)

 

If your VU SoloSE is turned on then the first tuner is always use for the TV screen so only the second one is available for streaming, in stand by both tuners should be  available. But there are perhaps limitation linked with PAU.

Sorry forgot to metion the tuner config....

 

I tried these 2 settings both with the same result:

 

1. Tuner B same as Tuner A

 

2. Both individual

 

Yes I got that the first tuner is always active for the TV screen. But even tough i just can stream exactly the channel with is on tv screen. (without enabling the "zap before stream" option)

 

Thanks for the tip with the standby. If the box is in standby i can stream 2 different channel via openwebif.... (can't test kodi right know).

Hi,

 

I find a thread (on another forum thanks to google) with the same problem that you describe and the solution was to reflash the box then everything works fine.
