I do not know.

All our files are in xz format.  The format is well known in the Linux world.  So try it.

the rytec DE xml links no longer work. As a xz and without an xml file, most players will not recognize it. Nevertheless many thanks.

WebGrabPlus.com = " <channel update="i" site="tv.blue.ch" site_id="1804##d51b9228-5dca-2010-7048-2a1e2934d4c0" xmltv_id="Craction TV">Craction TV</channel> ". Unfortunately i have no "Service Ref." for this Channel.

Why are you using still Crossepg?

This is not maintained for 5 - 6 years.

And it does not understand xz compression.

 

Install EPGimport and use the supplied sources.

 

BTW:  I examined the above mentioned file.  Somebody is downloading the rytec files, and recompresses them in .gz format.
And now they even change the info with a message to obtain a paid version.

I do not object to the fact that our files are used. But do the decent thing and do not charge money for it.......

Thank you for the lots of information. I only used this gz because Android players don't understand xz files. Yes, it is shown that this is chargeable. That's why I'm looking for a solution to use these xz formats as xml. Everything is clear about EPG importer, it works perfectly

Probably possible to use your xz via webgrab+. To create an xml from it

Android understand perfectly xz files.

You mean that the android app you are using does not support it.

 

Ask the provider of your app to add xz support.

 

Or download the xz file via an alternative way (Browser) and decompress it (Plenty of android apps available) to a xml file.

Your app would be able to use the uncompressed file.

What's the differnce between AutoMotorundSportChannel.eu and AutoMotorSport.de?
And can you direct me to a howto for blocking the EPG?
