You might need to restart Enigma (or even the box), I'm pretty sure Enigma itself isn't plug-and-play.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

damnit.. sorry guys.. It turned out that it was recognised as a remote/keyboard.. as soon as I removed the battery from the remote (that came with it) and rebooted the box it showed up as tuner C

I hope I saved someone a lot of time (it took me few hours already.. trying different firmwares and images..)

ehh.. not an easy one.. It works fine on the front USB but once its plugged on the back its no longer visible as tuner (I can see it in the log just fine)

I thought that maybe the Zgemma doesn't have enough power on the back (Amp) so I used active USB Hub.. still no joy

it makes absolutely no sense.. beside the voltage/Amp is there any other difference between the front and back USB port? - any advices?

Im still batteling with it.. what I managed to get is

1) Zgemma powers ON with tunner attached on the back.. its not visible

2) unplug the tunner.. plug it back in (into the back USB).. than in the log it shows

usb 1-1: USB disconnect, device number 2

usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 5 using ehci-brcm
usb 1-1: dvb_usb_af9035: prechip_version=83 chip_version=02 chip_type=9135

3) restart enigma and tuner C is back

4) reboot the box and tuner C is gone again (I have to start the whole unplug/plug back in again)

If I attach the tuner into the front USB its visible all the time (no need for messing with unplug/plug and rebooting enigma)

You can try this,

edit root/usr/bin/ enigma2.sh add the lines like this at the start

#!/bin/sh

modprobe -r dvb-usb-af9035 &
sleep 5
modprobe  dvb-usb-af9035 &

prefix=/usr
exec_prefix=/usr
datarootdir=${prefix}/share

it restarts the driver, but you need to add it every time you do a system update as the file gets updated
