Using epg importer to import rytec xmltv UK and some channels are missing on my guide:

Sky Sports Mix
Frontrunner- very hit and miss Mabie needs a source change
GINXESPORTSTV - same as above
Sky Sports 5 ROI - shows UK version so no 3pm kickoff
CNC World
Lifetime+1
AMC from BT
Home & Leisure
Property Show
Showcase 3
Showbiz TV
Oireachtas TV
Times Now

I hope this can be fixed thankyou

Some of these channels are new to me.  I do not have EPG for these now.  However i can look for it.

 

But I also need the service refs for these channels.  Can you provide them?

have EPG data in the XMLTV file but it is possible the service ref has been changed.

 

Oireachtas TV  - No EPG found

 

Others grab added.  But I still need the service ref.

http://tv.sky.com/tv-guide here is a full schedule for sky, not sure if it much use, can't seem to find a Irish sky sports schedule but will keep looking. Thanks for the refs Alex. I'm new to xmltv data but want to do my bit to help the community.

Which channel is this Frontrunner of GINX?

Both have a full EPG, but with a lot of teleshopping show.

 

I hope that the ROI versions have the same schedule as  the UK ones.

Have attached the same schedule to them.  Because I cannot find an irish schedule.

Not much of a chance I can get an EPG for it.

Still not getting the epg for these channels you added, I have it set to download at 10:30am(GMT). Am I doing something Wrong?

Nothing wrong with these settings.

And I got EPG on my own receiver for these channels.

 

However these channels have been added to the channelslist.  Therefore your receiver has to download the new channels list.  This occurs automatically each day.

But sometimes the import routine refuses to do this.  We haver never been able to determine why or under which circumstances this happens.  Unfortunally when this happens your receiver will never download the new channels file, and still uses the one which was downloaded some time ago.

 

The solution to this is restart enigma2, and re-import.  However sometimes even then the import fails.

The brute force method is.  Switch your receiver off.  Disconnect from power, or switcxh off the power switch.  Wait 5 minutes, reboot and re-import.

Chances are your receiver will import again the channels file daily.

Strange.

I took the normal schedule and shifted it 1 hour.

 

Anyway, changed the grab to schedule published on tv.sky.com
