1. .. how you got ciplushelper installed?

pli-hd51.jpg

Daily I have HD51 in use with OpenATV, no problems to use CI+ modules... but want to move back to OpenPLi.

My  Mut@nt HD2400 works  with CI+ module and OpenPLI.

2. After clean OpenPLI flash, I have my internal HDD mounted to  mnt/media/usb/

Clean OpenPLi install, no any settings were (auto)restored. Daily in use is OpenATV, HDD always is mounted to mnt/media/hdd/

4GB is my USB stick, FAT32 formatted, it's for images install and only. It's removed already after image flash and HD51 is fully restarted,

but still have this and 1 TB internal HDD is still automounted  - mnt/media/usb/

Guys, is Mutant HD51 the same as AX HD51? Just a different brand name with the same hardware or not?

OpenPLi works fine on AX HD51. However, I am not impressed with the driver quality.

Why not ?

I think it's pretty impressive how it works just after it's 2 months in the market.

As long as all bugs are properly addressed, I am fine with it. There are enough manufacturers that never address bug reports.

Depends on how long they do so. VU has also had a period in which they addressed bugs swift and good. But once they were the #1 on the market, they stopped doing so, relying completely on VTi & BH to work-around all issues (as those are the VU-images that are widely used).

Hello,

How are things with mygica t230 or dvbsky t330 drivers.

If i tryed to use these usb dvb-t2 sticks two weeks ago then these sticks are not working. Can anybody tell me why these not working with pli?

In ATV or hdf images these usb tuners work without any problem.

ciplushelper openpli4 HD51

Thank you

Installing is no problem, but is not working with Ziggo Ci+, authentication failed after 60 seconds, error 17.

Now again using OpenATV, works fine.

Maybe someone could find at OE-A on github what it required for these sticks to add... I tried to find it but I couldn't find it....

As i sayed in other post, MyGica T230 and DVBSky T330 both working without any problems. (HD51, latest OpenPLI installed 22.10.2016).

You need to install drivers over telnet, using opkg install command (example: opkg install kernel-module-dvb-usb-cxusb).

T230 needs these:

kernel-module-dvb-usb-cxusb

firmware-dvb-fe-si2168

kernel-module-si2157

kernel-module-si2168

After drivers install and restart HD51 finds usb tuner but no picture. You need to change file in /lib/firmware directory (faulty file is dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw). I found working dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw file in openHDF image and replaced working file in pli and now this stick is working. Uploaded correct file here: https://www.upload.e...-b40-01.fw.html

T230 stick is working only in USB3.0 port!

DVBSky T330 is also working behind HD51 but simillar problems in PLI, some fw files needed to replace manually.

Somebody please fix this, don't know where report. If needed i can find correct replacement fw files for dvbsky t330 to.

I also find one other small bug. If automatic timeshift is started then REC1 light switches on.

This is not correct, it's timeshift not recording.

Does anyone know if HD51 with OpenPLi works with Polsat CAM CI+ module?

https://www.cyfrowyp...-cam-ci-plus.cp

Perhaps the question is to Polish users only.

By the way, according to the description on their website, it has a legacy mode for older boxes/TV's.
