Hi,

I have been using an internal HDD on my VU+ Solo2 for more than two years almost on a daily basis.

I do not know Linux and do not want to remove the HDD from the tuner to check it on Windows with a SMART HDD software (CrystalDiskInfo).

Is there an extension I can install from within OpenPLi menu to check SMART attributes?

Tried and cannot find one in the list....

as far as I'm concerned there's no graphical plugin for this...

however, you can install smartmontools package, to read SMART attributes of your disk

opkg install smartmontools

both installation and usage is done through linux console, so it requires some basic knowledge (googling)
