New bootloader V31 for the HD51 model.
- CPU upgrade from 1500Mhz to 1700Mhz (+-12000 Dmips!!)
- For a kernel update you need bolt bootloader V31.
- cat /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/bolt/tag (requests the bolt bootloader version in e2)
The bolt bootloader update can be performed easily via an USB stick.
It's important that there is no MAP called HD51 on the USB stick.
When a map "HD51 is" on the USB stick, remove this map.
Download the new bolt bootloader which can be found in the attachment.
Unzip the package to an USB stick. A map will appear on the USB stick called HD51 which contains two files:
“hd51-bolt.bin” and “imageversion”.
Place the USB stick in one of the USB slots of the HD51.
The update can be performed in two easy ways:
Solution1: Hold down te standby button on the frontpanel for +- 15 seconds till "BOLT" is shown in the display.
Solution2: Start the HD51 (via powerplug/adapter) and hold down the stand-by button till "BOLT" is shown in the display.
The proces takes only a couple of seconds. When it's completed, "complete" will be shown in the display and the HD51 will restart automaticly.
Do not turn off the HD51 during the update of the new bolt bootloader!!
Now your HD51 has been updated to new bootloader V31
