Are there sources in this package?

Why ask that? Just open the package (and see the sources are provided).....

Nice plugin, very handy to check VPN speed and settings.

It worked fine yesterday when I installed it but today comes up with the error msg : "Failed to retrieve list of speedtest.net servers:"

Anyone else having this issue today?

Will this plugin be available in the OpenPLi feeds?

I use this plugin on my Vu+ Zero with latest OpenPLi 4 updated today.

Is netspeed available via plugins menu in HD51, please?

I can't find it.

Should I use a telnet command instead? If so, what is the correct command?

Or perhaps it is no longer in the feed?

Never even heard of it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

You can eg download a bigger file with wget on command line and then calculate size/duration.
For duration you can eg use this:
time wget ....

OK, maybe I'll try it.

Anyway, would that work on our EWnigma2 boxes?

still can try to download the ipk from first post and move it to /tmp and install as package

opkg install /tmp/*.ipk

also if you have chance to install TSmedia by this telnet command

wget http://tunisia-dreambox.info/TSmedia/software_official/installer.sh -O - | /bin/sh

you will find neetspeed test installed in TSmedia/desktop/needspeedtest

Hello everyone, does anyone know if there is a way of viewing the speedtest result in a bigger 'box' that fills more of the screen?

With other images as well as TSMedia the plugin opens and a larger box is visible onscreen whereas with all OpenPli images

(currently using 8.1) the text in the speedtest box can hardly be read.Thank you.
