Stopped the Technical Support on ET4x00, ET5x00, ET6x00, ET8000, ET9x00, ET10000

 

Maybe thats the reason the driver updates from the ET10000 are not as stable as expected

It was on there website but now that posting is password protected, this was the exact content:

NexTV have to announce that we CAN NOT support ET4x00, ET5x00, ET6x00, ET8000, ET9x00, ET10000.

NexTV is very sorry for this matter. However, there is no problem to support ET7000, ET7100, ET8500.

No that's because the other models are discontinued and aren't produced/sold any more, so no need for distributors for these old models.
But that shouldn't mean automatic that these models aren't supported any more.

Maybe it was removed because not all boxes in that list were sold!

And thats not nice for the distributors who have those boxes still in stock

So keep your distributors happy.

 

With the dumping of the ET10000 prices the end is set for those boxes, the announcement came to soon

New Company, new distributors, new support, for the boxes they are distributing now

Thank you for your attentions.

 

We are trying to send the mail to S/W developer groups several times. But, we did not any response on my mail, so we decided the closing the technical support on those model. Please understand our current situations, our company can not do anything except ET7x00, ET8500.

 

However, after uploading the notice on the web-page, I got the mail from s/w developer. So, I am discussing with them.

After making the conclusions, I will post separately.

Certainly not!

But its more basic economic thinking, and not the wishful thinking that other people have.

 

 

Please understand our current situations, our company can not do anything except ET7x00, ET8500.

Normal economics, old stuff is over.

Time line's from customers are different to the time lines from manufacturers.

We will see
