Hi Folks,

 

I'm facing an issue.

This is my situation, I've a et4000 running openpli. I've received the box from a guy who refused to provide the root password.

 

He made quite a good job blocking all access and I've no more ideas

- software management pluging removed

- web interface disable

- repositories feed redirect to 127.0.0.1 in hosts file

All I want is update sat.xml or updated the fav channels list...

 

I've try inserting a usb stick with setpassword.ipk at root level but received an error messge saying no item to display.

 

Any id to extract the CCcam.cfg or gaining root access back?

Is there any serial access on ET4000 or can I boot on usb instead of internal flash?

Run an autobackup... (Standard in openpli) verify if / arrange that the specific cccam.cfg is on the backup tar so you keep the details of you illegal cardserver... And reflash freshly.... And areange that you installme everything from scratch...

Unfortunately there is no support for WAN sharing....

Someone has found the solution to this kind of problem because even I find myself in the same situation? All passwords can not work and no type of plugin is installed.

i hope autobackup.ipk us installed... When not arrange the ipk, put it on a stick and imsert thr stick and install it....
