Hi, for few days, when exiting Cool Tv Guide, I get message: New Version Is Now Available, Please upgrade it at: http://www.CoolTVGuide.com.
As far as I know there is no newer version than 7.3.0. Moreover, mentioned web pages do not exist anymore. I tried to reinstall Cool TV Guide but nothing changed. Any idea how to get rid off it? Anyone with same issue?

use ore own Gmepg.

Cool TV Guide is not mandatory

Edit Plugin.py Line 9177 change the date from 2016 11 to smth in the future.
if (localtime().tm_year, localtime().tm_mon) >= (2018, 11):

Thanks, Abu Baniaz, I copied plugin.py and this works as it already has year changed to 2099.
Regarding GMEPG, it is just poor comparing to Cool TV Guide, considering options to setup look and even functionality.

What do you miss....? I'm afraid you did not check it for a long time... There is currently no big difference anymore...
Cool TV Guide is poor because it is closed source and has a time bomb.... but I'm happy for you someone did decompile the sources... But please note the creator of Cool TV Guide will not be happy with this as this is violating his licences...

Yes he is still alive, the post on SU was nonsense about his dead.
There is no license on this plugin.
Which does not indicate one can fool arround with his code todo whatever kind of stuff.
I did edit the plugin.py for my needs and i dont need nagging screens on my box (yea use GMEP), sertainly when is website is down and no new releases are out.
There more timebombs inside i read somewhere.
