question for all devs. box: vu+ solo 2.
if I turn off downmix on HD channels where Ac3 or Ac3+ sound is available, volume is very loud and it can't be adjusted by remote, volume bar goes down but no reaction. is this normal and how can I make this right? thanks

That is correct.
AC3 is send digitally to the receiver or TV, you can't adjust it. If you use AC3, make sure your standard volume is set to 100%, and use the receiver or TV remote to control the volume.
