Sorry to say again, but NO GO. There is impossible to locate ANY channels on port A. Why is it so hard to fix it ??

BlackHole works like an charm, and locate 800 channels on Port A, and 600 channels on Port B.

Sorry to say but I am giving up whit OpenPli an Solo4K, I dont think that the team can fix the bug.

For a multiswitch you have to say no power. I changed the repeat delay from 60 back to 120 last friday, because this causes issues on xp1000 but now I think I neef to revert that....

There are still issues on the XP1000.

Yesterday I connected the box (no new update or flash) to a simple 4/1 switch, and immediately I have a tune lock, while the same box refused to work with an EMP 17/4. So whatever it is causing it, it is not solved.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

simple switch:

voltage: polarisation

band: tone

multiswitch:

voltage: 13V

band: none

That will probably fix it, that's how it's supposed to work.

The weird part is that, when I switched Thor with Astra A/B, Astra would still work.

Feels like it's some kind of bug to me.

This remark makes me wonder if the problem really is related to the changed timings in the image. Sure it's weird that other images and old Openplis seem to work. But I also use the latest Openpli on my Solo 4K with 4 tuners and many different switches connected to it and never encountered the slightest problem concerning DiseqC.

After all this posts I still don't know what the setup exactly is (Single/Twin/Quad/Monoblock or whatever LNB with integrated switch or not; if not what type of switch; exact settings used in tuner setup and so on).

Let's start with the satellite finder, not scanning, that's the next step. Just try to get a LOCK on a transponder.

Hello and a happy 2017.

Now I have bought myself an VU+ Uno 4k, and today I tried OpenPli, BUT exaktly the same issue as on my Solo 4K, there IS no go on channels port A ( in my case Thor 0.8). Tried with the satfinder -> No lock at all on diseqs A. And futhermore, there is no mgcamd that works on plugins !!

Strange !

Not really that strange. Only Oscam supports the new ARM architecture processor. None of the "old" softcams like MGCamd or CCcam does. For the tuner issue I'm still out of ideas what could be the cause of it. But how should this situation change as you haven't answered to any of the questions I asked before.

Hello again.

I wonder what questions I have NOT answered ?? As far as I can se I have answered every questions with "Nopp no go" or something like that, belive me I ha tried EVERY setting that you have suggested, BUT there is NO GO on port A, no mater which sattellit I have there, I have tried with, Sirius 4.8  on A & B (different parabols), Thor 0.8 on A & B, Astra 19.2 on A and so on. I will NEVER get any lock on transponders i pos A. The only time I got an lock is when transponders on A & B is the same, then it locks on B (even though I search on A).

And to the mgcamd ->  works just fine with BlackHole, BUT me and my family really loves OpenPli, so PLEASE help me out.

Ok, that's at least a first step, but I still don't know what type and brand of lnbs and switches you use. "Nope, no go" isn't really an answer to that type of question.

For testing purposes I prepared the following setup on my Vu Solo 4K: a Disecq switch 4/1 with 16e (port A), 23,5e (port B) and 28,2e (port C) connected to Tuner B.

When using simple configuration (ABCD) and Auto-Diseqc as it was expected ports B and C were correctly assigned with 23,5e and 28,2e. I added 16e manually for port A. 16e then was working properly, but no signal on the other ports although they had been properly recognised. I tried the same thing later and by then nothing was recognised automatically anymore.

Then I went into advanced configuration mode with Disecq 1.0. After setting up the three sats on ports A,B and C everything worked fine, with fast Diseqc enabled or disabled, all other parameters at default.

After moving this configuration to Diseqc 1.1 the same scenario: everything working fine even without setting any uncommitted port.
