Mine does.
IPSec and OpenVPN ... Linksys WRT1900ACS running LEDE.

But anyways, it's still kind of a forwarding ... to itself :)

It's not the port forwarding that is evil. It's the insecure services they direct to ...

Hi,

Is VXG still supposed to work?

If I perform the test to ensure that the plugin works in Chrome it works with the BigBunny test file:

https://www.videoexp...-in/#vxg_plugin

But from OpenWebif I cannot have access to Web TV.

I deinstall openwebif and openwebif-vxg and reinstall them then reboot the box and still the same issue.

I test from my VU+ Solo4K and from my ET-9000 none is working (they are still in OpenPLi 4), client is Chrome browser with VXG plugin running on OSX.

Do you have the link "Web TV" in OWIF?

Yes of course I have it, it starts but video screen remains black, I try play, stop, channel zap nothing screen is always black. When I roll-over the mouse cursor I saw the typical indication of the VXG player.

That's why I test the VXG player with the link I provide and the player is working fine, so the problem doesn't seems to be on the client side.

One suggestion:  would be better to present the bouquets in the same way as in the EPG, because scrolling is the whole list to get the channels from different bouquet is not really user friendly. So perhaps split the bouquets into several drop-down list where we select the channels.

It works on VTi, OpenATV, OpenHDF, OpenViX, ... the way it is now, if OpenPLi needs any further special handling, someone from PLi needs to investigate this.

You can always open an issue on https://github.com/E...lugin-OpenWebif if you have suggestions to make.
It wasn't me but jbleyel who implemented "Web TV" and I don't have a sufficient overview of its code.

But I guess further "Web TV" enhancements won't have high priority:
It's not a "o whow, we have waited for this since years" feature, just a goodie or proof-of-concept.

It might even cease to work in Firefox through the next days/weeks, as Firefox is going to lose NPAPI (Plugin) support "until the end of 2016" (!) too.

So I would rather not waste too much time on it.
If it works, enjoy it as long as it is there.

Try disabling "Auth for streaming" in both places: Inside Extensions/OpenWebif and inside Enigma2 (Dunno where OpenViX has that setting).

Well, it was a bit at the wrong place, because OpenPLi is not the developer of the OWIF, but it was quite a relevant information for the devs anyways.

Happily the forum software includes the message text in notifications, so I still had the message in my mail folder :)

The forum software automatically does spam checks using an external commercial anti-spam service.

Which works quite well in 99.99% of the cases. In this case it went wrong. The user account is already reactivated, but unfortunately the spam marking also deletes the "suspected spam posts". We've send them an email with appologies, and asked them to post.

Well, that's not a big problem.
As mentioned, the message text was included inside the notification (Which some other forum software sadly don't do anymore), so I still have it.
I have put it into a better place for this topic: https://github.com/E...ebif/issues/723

I also just did a test and WebTV is still working for me on Chrome, so it appears to be some future issue.

WebTV however doesn't work in Firefox anymore for me, although I "down"graded Firefox to 52.x ESR in order to keep NPAPI support (The sole reason why I still have CrashFox anymore at all are a handful of NPAPI plugins).

Chrome is busy dropping NPAPI support, I've already lost a few plugins. Using Version 62.0.3202.89 (Developer Build) Fedora Project (64-bit).

Chrome has removed support for NPAPI a long time ago.

The VXG plugin is a native PPAPI/NaCl add-on, which is genuinely Chrome, so it somewhat surprised me to read this ...
