As far as I know, lamedb is still used.

lamedb is used. It can contain either format.

I use Dreamset to put old channellist with only lamedb into new PLi and works just fine.

Hopefully it changes soon, so it writes whatever format it reads.

Right now there doesn't seem much point. i.e. if lamedb is in V5 format it reads it in fine at boot time,,, and then writes out in V4 at shutdown... crazy.

Delete lamedb5 and see if that fixes your problem.

Are you sure that there is no changes from your TV provider?  French provider Canal update some channels on the 8th november, so some channels have changed (channels swap) and others are now n/a.

I'm using vhannibal settings to assemble my custom list every month. Everything was ok today since i uploaded the new ones. I do this the same way for years.

Strange thing is when i start reading settings from the receiver via Dreamset Editor, settings come just fine into the program.

Yep. This solves it, but how to convert my whole channel list? And why?

That field was know as available field, so when ATSC developed recently an extra field was required.

As you can undrestand the available field was used.

BUT (damn, there is always a but), it seems that source_id wasn't available field, it is used by several projects, and nobody ever document this with a comment, in order to avoid use of that field.

A solution should be found.

Thanks athoik! I'll try to manually edit my settings, but what about all the different channel editing software using this field?

What do you mean "source_id"?

I know in the past with some brands of decoders also N/A was displayed. Then after doing an automatic scan the N/A was gone. Maybe this is also the solution nowadays ? I cannot test it since my receivers don't have this problem.
