Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Besides that, your questions smell very heavily, I suspect you're into illegal activities, so if I were you I would tread very carefully from now one, illegal activities, or asking about it, is against the forum rules and could lead to a ban.

What the difference about download and stream? You watching the same.
Also there is no good alternative excepts the horrible Open uitzending gemist.

Then you can buy a cheap box from 40 euro. It's a multimedia device and it can play MKV files and many more!
It's a mini PC (barabone) that runing Linux.

There is a Enigma 2 App let you download YouTube video, what is the difference with NPO video?

Rocco99/adam88 keeps on trying and trying.... The VU+ SoloSE is *not* a multimedia player. It has been said and said again. It's a bit sad and in fact he is becoming desparate because he only receives Digitenne. As Digitenne will switch over to DVB-T2 and will use closed boxes, he is afraid his VU+ SoloSE will become useless. He now desperately wants some IPTV function so he can keep watching.. DVB-T2 will use HEVC H.265 and the VU+ SoloSE doesn't support this...

Not only that... the encryption will be a dedicated ‘unhackable’ version... and ci(+) devices are not available... only npo1-3 HD and the regionale stations are fta (in hevc!) and they say in 1080p... but they mean the dedicated box outputs 1080p...
