I have access to 23.5E,  So I scanned this sat again, and got the channels for hungary.

Problem:  I do not have a subscription to these channels so I do not know if they are correct.

But I have added these channels and EPG.

A few channels I had to add to the grab.  That is running now.

 

But at the moment I have not found EPG for AXN white and AXN Black.

 

I expect the data to be uploaded tis morning at 9h30 (UTC+2)

 

pls.  Import again after this time.   And restart enigma2 first to force a new download of the channels file.

Check the channels and tell me if there are changes needed.

(I can provide EPG, but I need the feedback from users to be certain everything is OK)

You see the difference?  Problem is I do not know why this difference exist.

So I just have add both service refs.

 

As for the channels which have a different language EPG.

These channels are shared between several countries (and providers).

Two solutions:

 

1. Do not import the EPG from the other country

But this is not always desirable, as you are missing other channels.

 

2. If you have updated EPGimport in last couple of months, there is a provision for this case.

You can list which EPG not to import on a channels base.

 

Look in /etc/epgimport if you have a file called:  channel_id_filter.conf

 

The file contains most likely this:

# This file allows you to filter out some "channel id" that you don't want to be loaded into your EPG data.

# Its usage is very limited and it will mostly be used by advanced users that encountered the following problem:

If the file does not exist create it with the following content:

I don't know why but there aren't EPG for those channels which I've written in my prevous post.

 

Thor is at 0.8 W at me, perhaps at you it's 1.0 W? Perhaps this is the difference.

I've restarted enigma 2 and downloaded the EPG again and it's OK now. Thanks.

 

There are some other channels which haven't got EPG, later I'll send their service references.

OK.I ll process them when I see them.

I hope you realize now, that I need the service refs from the user.  It is the service ref which the user has on his receiver which links the EPG.

Service refs, I can get from King-of-sat or from my own scans do not always have the correct result. 

 

And when a provider makes changes, I mostly do not know about this.  (Only for the provider I have a subscription for, I know)

So in case of changes, pls report these.

A simple message with the new servixe ref and channelname will do.  And maybe a notice of the old service ref to be removed.

From what I understand this is the same channel.

But what I do not understand if one is scanning he gets: E080000

Another scan results in E082E09.

 

Can somebody explain to me how this is possible?

And more to the point how we can avoid this.

I do not think this is the case.

The first 4 positions of the name space (from the 8) is the sat position.

In this case E08.

 

This hexadecimal.  If you convert it to decimal: 3592

Or 359.2 E. 

Or more conventional: 0.8W

 

Sat position 1W is denoted E06...
