You can make it backwards compatible by cheching DVB_API_VERSION.

If it's possible for you to test it yourself, Please send a merge request :)

Can DVBSnoop be adapted so it can obtain the EPG IDs too?

See here please
http://forums.openpl...ds/#entry282504

I am attaching two excel files for 28.2e and 13e containing the numbers. They have been created by AutoBouquetsMaker. The numbers are highlighted in green and called CHID (Channel ID).

Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot Erik :)

On oe-a they did revert it because of "it breaks the build for old boxes", But in our tests it was ok so should we check it for 2.6.x kernels or what ?

Maybe we need another patch for it, It would be great if oe-a members share their logs with us here.

On OE-A they need to support dm800 etc. We don't.

The next one will be if E2 can see this. May need to concatenate with ONID so that they are unique. Maybe in a different thread.

What is your goal? Have enigma or a plugin find the transponder that sends the EIT EPG? That would be a nice feature.

Makes that the merge safe ;)

We're not honouring AUTOREV, for the fact that it means that the rev needs to be checked on every build run. Whenever github has a glitch, the complete build fails, even when the repo hasn't changed at all. So better only increment the rev when it really has changed.
