Yes for supported boxes (which means no for dreamboxes).

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Yes. and No, it will be for OpenPLi 5.

You might have a look at SatDreamGr (made by team member Athoik), they have experimental images based on OpenPLi 5 development code that already incorporate these features.

For DVB-S2x support you need special tuners. You cannot add support by changing the software!

Same applies to multistream. Only a few tuners (at the moment most of them external USB tuners) support multistream.

Are you sure? That looks like the standard GB-tuner, not any multiStream supporting one.

You won't find manufacturers enthousiastic about enabling multistream. Multistream transponders carry content that's not meant for the general public. You know that and they know that. Apparently they'd rather keep the providers as friends...

Excuse me for asking.

I'm reading up on dvb-s2 multi stream technology.

But can anybody give me a real use-case for people who'd like to use this feature on their open enigma2 receivers?

e.g. Is there some television broadcast provider who uses this technology or something?
