Hi Rytec EPG Team

 

I have noticed for the past number of weeks that the channel information in the full screen EPG Guide for BBC One NI and BBC Two NI show the same listings (BBC One NI shows the incorrect information), however once you are start viewing BBC One NI the guide at the bottom of the tv which appears for about 5 secs shows the correct listing for BBC One NI.

 

Do you know what is causing this to happen, the reason it is a problem is that I cannot set any timers to record based on the program name for the BBC channels.

 

I am using EPG-Importer with Openvix 5.3 on a Vu Duo 2 box

 

Any help / advice you could provide would be greatly appreciated

I probably have mixed up the channels.

In order to make sure I correct the faulty channel (and not change accidentally the one which is correct at the moment), can you provide the service ref of the faulty channel?

 

The reason you get the correct info in de status bar after a few seconds is due to the Now-Next schedule provided by the BBC.  This has nothing to do with EPG import.

PS:  When I look at the webif on my receiver, the next service ref for BBC1 NI gives a distinctive different EPG.  So I suppose this is the one wrongly assigned.

I am a begineer to this whole world so please forgive my ignorance in asking you how do I get the service ref for the channel?

Several methods.  But the easiest is the webif of the receiver on a PC or tablet.

Open the Webif, tune to the channel and select the Current TAB  (I think it is called that in English).  At least it is the first tab at the top of the screen.

 

There is a line called Sref. 

There are 2 values behind it.  One with _ between the numbers and one with :

It is the one with the : between the numbers.

Thanks again for looking into this. The Sref is: 1_0_1_2898_800_2_11A0000_0_0_0

 

I have just ran a Manual EPG download and it now appears that all the channel information is correct.

 

I cannot thank you enough for resolving this issue

This is for ?TV.

 

&TV is called atTV.uk

(Because in xml & is a special charachter and I avoid to use it.)

I know I should have it called andTV.uk
