Dear OpenPLI Team,
Excuse me ! I come from China. I very like the OpenPLI system, I buy the UNO 4K from Amzon DE。The product are very good!!!!
But It can not play AVS+ Video, I feel very sad。As far as I am concerned,The CPU of the UNO 4K supports this decoding(AVS+)。So,I hope you can fix this problem.Because many other machines are supported(for example AX HD51)!
Bother you. Thanks your very much !
Finally, I wish you a happy New Year!

The manufacturer decides what codecs are included, not we, unfortunately.

Obviously chip support, but because of the lack of related drivers or decoding library. I feel pity, but thank you(Erik Slagter).

No not "obviously chip support", whether a codec is supported is determined by both software (drivers) and hardware.

Every new box has some teething problems, like every other product. If you want to be an early adopter, you will have with this. Otherwise, wait until the wrinkles are ironed out.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

And so what are these "problems"? I have one here, and I really can't think of a significant one.

Indeed every new boxes have problems, the problem is the lack of feedback from VU+ when you report bugs to them. So you will have to cross fingers and hope that they will consider the bugs you reports and fix them.

NO SUPPORT by PM, it is a forum make your question public so everybody can benefit from the question/answer.

I still didn't get any response to my inquiry about which terrible bugs he's experiencing.
