Next time you flash the STB with a freshimage, can you please make a quick try with putty (windows) instead of a linux machine?

PuTTY works fine too, as long as you select connection type "telnet" instead of "ssh".
The SSH daemon in the OpenPLi image is configured not to work when these is no password, to avoid people opening up port 22 to the internet and not setting a password.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
