You can place the user skin in etc/enigma2.

 

Het is echt geen gezicht, dus laten we dit er maar niet default inzetten lijkt mij.

1) can the time under the progress bar be a bit bigger.. Ive tried to change the font but it doesn't fit so needs more tweaking (the event would have to go up a bit so the rest could fit in.. too much hassle for me to mess with)

Maybe we should consider to re-organize this complete screen... Allow a bigger picon... Nu channel name required if we have a picon... But this is very tricky and needs really a new redesign...

 

2) can the date in standby be a bit bigger? I can't find the section responsible for it  

-> WHen you make it bigger it might not fit (in other languages)... think about 'Donderdag 30 September' this should fit... A different way that might allow to get it bigger is change it to...

@1 there is a lot of work to redesignit.. Im not sure if needs to be redesigned from scratch.. the current one is pretty good but If you sit 4m from the tuner you can't see much

so my point is.. if Im about to use the LCD I want to be able to read

but If you go that road (to redesign it ) could you make a field/section in a menu to pick/select different LCD skin? Someone may like to have more in it if sits 2m from it (Im simply too far)

 

@2 I agree too.. but I use either english or polish so font 36 does the job for me

beside that who really needs to see that its 2017? All I need is:

Try the skin_user.xml I made specialy for you.
See few posts up.
Put it in root/etc/enigma2 of your box and restart.

mv1wou that's perfect! I've also changed the font for movie player (medium>>bigger) and I'm done

Nice. Now keep the file safe, so you can replace it if nesessary.
The skin_user in root/etc/enigma2 overrules the skin_display.xml in usr/share/enigma2 . It should stay there after an update, but you never know.
