Crypt items don’t turn green when a channel is decrypted. I thought it only was in the X-Line skin, but it's the same in Media-PLi skins too. This was working 100% in Helenite!

Don't have that problem here. I use both the MediaPLi and the MediaPLi Dark skins.

Which emu are you using?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

It's the same thing with mgcam 1.26 and cccam 2.0.4 on a nds and conax-card.
As I said before it worked perfect on Helenite.
I'm really lost here...

Me too then.

I'm running CCcam 2.0.4. as well, with a SECA2 and an NDS card. No problems, even educational channels give me a green crypt indicator.

I have to pass this one on...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

I have the same issue using CCcam 2.0.4. Moreover, ECM-Info does not display regularly!!
This occurs on X-Line and Media-PLi skins. As far as I know, this is not a skin-related issue.

Same problem as hutten and SayyiD with conax card here.
But with the exception that Helenite did the same.
Cccam or Mgcamd doesn't matter.

You haven't by any change restored a config of an older image? In particular /var/etc/plimgr/scripts/ecminfo? What is the timestamp of this file?

No, I just copied a few files in /usr/keys from the Helenite img.
Every file in that folder says 1970-01-01 00:00

That's odd. What type of box are we talking about? Can you attach your ecminfo file, so I can compare it with the one in the image?

Looks like the correct file.

What is the output if you zap to an encrypted channel, and then run the script from the commandline?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Ah, looks like a bug in the ecminfo script.

Can you copy the contents of your /tmp/ecm.info file here as well, so we have some test material when trying to fix the script error?

Sure, but the outputs look pretty similar to me ;)
Btw, putting the card directly in the 600 so it says (newcamd at 127.0.0.1:10000) doesn't help.

Thanks for the info, we'll try to fix this asap.

edit: here's an updated version of the ecminfo script. Do you mind testing it for us?

Hi WanWizard,

I just tested your updated version of ecminfo script, it seems better.
However ECM-Info still does not display or get updated occasionally!

Thanks for trying to fix this, WanWizard!
For me it's pretty much the same as before.
10 zaps and only 2 green lights...sometimes not even that.

Thanks go to littlesat. ;)

On the 8 channels you don't get a green light, are they all using the same softcam, and the conax card?

If not, the ecm.info might be different, and in that case, I would like a copy of those as well, so we can make further modifications...

Yes, I use the same conax card and softcam.
But what may not be clear is it's not the same channel that turns green (or stays yellow) every time.
So it seems to happen randomly and has nothing to do with ecm pids, channel settings, softcam?
Lets say I zap to my national channel SVT1 and it turns green.
That doesnt mean after a few zaps it will turn green the next time I come back to the same channel.

I'll pass this on to Littlesat. Maybe a script execution problem? ecm.info not present when checked?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
