If you want openatv build it yourself. OpenViX, OpenBH, VTi, and BH all have released images.

You still cannot download the ATV image(password protection) as afaik several things are not working.
Ah, yep, you're right. I didn't try to download the Ult-4k image, and as I can download (and use and update online) the other ATV6.0 images I never expected this one to be locked.

That is something you cannot judge at all because you do not know what goes on behind te scenes.
Anyway, I you like the other images so much better, why not use them instead of whining here, which is not quite positive for our motivation and will certainly not get you your image sooner.
