Hey Guys,

Ive read all the FAQ and some threads, but i cant wrap my head around this.

I got a IPTV list, and it should be fine.

While selecting sources and then manualy start them, it says 0 events.

Unknown channel tv3.se

Ive read it could be the lamedb?

If EPGimport reports Unknown channel tv3.se it menas simply it found tv3.se in the XMLTV file but it does not have anything (no ref) to attach the EPG to.

In the Rytec file this channel is denoted as: TV3.se

Remember the case is important. TV3.se is not the same as tv3.se

Secondly:

Pls. post your bouquet entry for this channel, and the channels file you use for importing the EPG.

I will check them out.

Willy

Since you do not know what that is, I assume that you import simply the rytec sources.

In here is defined:

1:0:1:D4F:2:46:E080000:0:0:0:

So it should import EPG. If it does not do it by this method (reusing the satellite channels) , it is possible that the channel is missing in the lamedb.

The solution is simple. Rescan the satellite (here Thor 0.8W). You do not have to do anything else with the results.

However if you do not have access to the satellite, this is a bit more problematic.

You have to obtain a correct lamedb from some source (a good settinglist will mostly do - but be carefull that they use the Thor 0.8W setting and not the the Thor 1W setting)

Then stop enigma2. Copy the lamedb file from the settinglist to the /etc/enigma2/ folder of your receiver. Then restart enigma2.

Ah nice,

So if I have 50 channels in my file, i need to add
1:0:1:D4F:2:46:E080000:0:0:0:
 for the corresponding channel?

How do i know the channel id? :)

Tell me for EPG how do you import it?

Do you use the standard swedish package from Rytec?

If yes. You have to look elsewhere. Like in the lamedb.

Go to /etc/enigma2 on your receiver and open lamedb in an editor (PSPad or Notepad++, but any editor decent editor will do)

Search for (with the automatic search) for D4F and see if that also has 2 and 46 in this definition and is labeled TV3.

If you cannot find it. there you will need a new lamedb.

Willy

PS: I a growing a bit tired of fixing problems with IPTV. Most of these are illegal. And the problems can be many different reasons why they do not have EPG.

For IPTV in enigma2, nothing is standard. So start finding the problem is big pain in the be.....
