Yes, but is this channel present in your lamedb?

This is a DVB-T channel (DTT).

Sorry, It should not matter if the channels is presetn in the lamedb, because of the way it is defined (It has a fake URL behind the service ref)

This channel should always import.

The XMLTV file contains data for it.

In short: I do not understand it why you do have EPG.

Ok after searching on your method , it ISN'T ENOUGH making an test.channels.xml , it also need to be binded by the appriopriate test.sources.xml otherwise is dont worx.

So to work properly i needed to make these 2 files inside /etc/epgimport.

  1. test.channels.xml
  2. test.sources.xml

now it works properly.

  1. ps. Is t possible that for SKY CINEMA 1 (Italian) there is no data in epg.dat ?
  2. Are you on dutch side or french ? i am in your country - dutch side :)

Hi,
My EPG works fine for all the channels existing in my lameDB but not for the others ones.
I tried to follow the explanation in the previous pages but unfortunately it doesn't work.

I'm sure something is not correct in the 2 files I have created. If someone can check and tell me where the issue is, I will be really happy!!

/etc/epgimport/custom.channels.xml

<channels>

4097:0:19:518:5208:55F:0:0:0:0:http%3a//example.com

</channels>

/etc/epgimport/custom.sources.xml

<sources>

</sources>

In my /etc/enigma2/userbouquet.dbe00.tv, I have the entry

#SERVICE 4097:0:19:518:5208:55F:0:0:0:0:http%3A//site/ID.ts:Discovery Channel

Thanks for your answer but unfortunately it didn't work - No EPG for this channel.

As suggested, I updated 4097 by 1 in my userbouquet.dbe00.tv and in custom.channels.xml

Is there some logs I can check to see my custom files are taken into account?

Have you selected the Custom XMLTV source?

Can you only import this source and request the epgimport.log pls. (See the FAQ's on how to obtain the log)

Post this log.

In the sources file I am missing the sourcecat tags and the opening <sources> tag

<sources>

<sources>
<sourcecat sourcecatname="Custom">

Custom XMLTV

</sourcecat>

</sources>

Under the sourcecat tag you can have multiple source entries. This tag is introduced to categorize the entries in sections, to avoid very long lists.

Thanks a lot for your explanation - The new source was not selected!!! it didn't come to my mind...

With the "sourcecat" tag (defining a new category), it is easier to find new custom sources - Really useful!!!

Regarding the opening tag "sources", it was there (see in Red)

<sources>

Custom XMLTV

</sources>

Even if is now working, I have 2 other questions.

- If the service starts with "4097", do we still have to replace it by "1" in the *.channels.xml file?

- Do we still have to set the 7th field to 0 for each channel in *.channels.xml in order to ask the system not to check the lamedb file?

  Indeed, in my case, the correct service for the channel is

     4097:0:19:518:5208:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0 and not 4097:0:19:518:5208:55F:0:0:0:0

Thanks again for your help,
Regards

Yes.

Never tried this. So I do not know. It could be there are some unexpected effects here.

And obvious I do not know

Well, It should be possible to grab something via:

https://search-api.svcs.eurosportplayer.com/svc/search/v2/graphql/persisted/query/eurosport/web/Airings/DateRange?variables={"startDate":"2018-02-04T23:00:00.000Z","endDate":"2018-02-05T22:59:59.999Z","uiLang":"fr","mediaRights":["GeoMediaRight"],"preferredLanguages":["fr","en"]}

However figuring out which channel is which, might be a problem.

The channels are given as:

"channel": {
          "id": "69",
          "callsign": "E1SE"
        },

and so on. But I can only see E1 and E2

The first thing is to find out which channel is which. If you can figure it out pls help.
